GUWAHATI: A 23-year-old rape victim from Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district, was set on fire by five men outside her village while she was headed to a local court for hearing in the rape case.
In March, the woman had filed an FIR against two men from her paternal village in Unnao, accusing them of raping her and also filming the act.
One of the accused was later arrested by the police but he had managed to get bail last week. The other accused was on the run.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested all the five accused men which also include the two rape accused.
The victim has sustained 90 per cent burn injuries all over her body and is currently admitted at a Lucknow hospital in critical state.
