The addiction of PUBG was such that a youth has committed suicide two days after the gaming application was banned in India.

21-year-old Pritam Halder of Nadia District, West Bengal was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his house on 4th September.

His mother, Ratna claimed that her son was apparently frustrated for not being able to play the game, reported national media. "He would play it at night. I think he died by suicide as he was not being able to play PUBG," she said.

Pritam Halder was an ITI student. He was the son of Biswajit Halder, a retired army man, and Ratna, a homemaker.
