GUWAHATI: The All Assam Tennis Association (AATA) is set to host an international tennis tournament for boys and girls under 14 years of age at its Chachal complex in Guwahati.

The event, known as the Asian Junior Tennis Tournament, will take place from 6th May to 11th May, 2024, and will feature players from various countries, including China, Korea, Thailand, and India. In a press release, the AATA stated that the Asian Tennis Federation has appointed Somnath Manna from West Bengal as the tournament's referee, with Ankush Dutta serving as the tournament director.

Approximately 70 players are expected to participate in the competition, which promises to be a thrilling showcase of young tennis talent from all over the continent.
