An eyewitness, who was a passenger on one of the buses, shared with GPlus, "I boarded the bus at Walford. Another bus, attempting to overtake, crashed into the right side of ours. The impact shattered two windowpanes, scattering shards of glass inside the bus. Despite this, our driver continued until passengers shouted for him to stop."

A few passengers seated near the broken windows reportedly sustained minor injuries from the glass.

The incident is an eye-opener about how rough the city bus drivers are. Moreover, there is very less regulations on the buses. According to the transport department, a city bus can halt at a bus stop only for a minute, but ironically the buses stop for five to ten minutes. Regulations to enforce rules on city buses is hardly visible. Today's incident is concerning but ironically no suo moto is taken yet by any of the authorities, transport or traffic police.

As of now, no formal complaint has been filed, and further details are awaited.
