GUWAHATI: Traffic police has made certain arrangements for the Filmfare Awards function to be held at Sarusajai Stadium on February 15, 2020.
1. Only those vehicles having valid car passes shall be allowed entry into the stadium.The organisers have distributed car passes to the ticket holders.
2.All other spectators will have to get down from their vehicles at Rongmon point and proceed on foot inside the stadium.
3.27 parking places have been earmarked outside. Cars coming from Lokhra side will drop the passengers on the service road and proceed towards Beharbari for parking.The cars coming from Khanapara side will similarly proceed towards Lokhra side for parking.Traffic personnel will assist in the parking.
4. All spectators will enter via gate 1A, 1B and 1C.
5. The road from Sawkuchi upto Hockey Stadium and from Hockey stadium upto Sawkuchi will be No Entry.Local residents,police/administration vehicles and emergency service vehicles are exempted.
Further DCP said that the audience will have to enter the venue before 3.45 PM and there will be restrictions in the entry at National Highway 31 from 3 pm on Saturday till 4 AM on Sunday.
The DCP further informed that the Assam Police have also arranged extra force for the security purpose during the award ceremony.
Restrictions have also been imposed on carrying bags and purse into the venue.
