GUWAHATI: City police might have decided not to allow Praveen Togadia to deliver any speech in Guwahati, but the self styled Hindu leader will reach Guwahati at 10:00 am and is scheduled to address a gathering.
Former Bajrang Dal Guwahati President Deepjyoti Sharma said, 'City police will do what BJP and RSS instructed them, but we are around 20000 people.'
He said that 90 percent Bajrang Dal members in Assam have already resigned. They have joined Antrashtriya Hindu Parishad - a new Hindu wing launched by Togadia recently.
He even claimed that many RSS members have also backed Togadia as the top RSS leaders in Northeast have become greedy.
Dr. Togadia is scheduled to arrive in Guwahati at 10:00 am after which he will visit Kamakhya Temple and Ugratara Temple thereafter. He will address a group of AHP members and members of the 9 wings of the Parishad.
According to sources, the meeting will be held at the residence of Robin Bhuyan who is the Assam President for the newly floated Antarashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP).
