Three Thieves Apprehended In Guwahati’s Dispur, ₹3 Lakh Cash & Stolen Items Recovered

GUWAHATI: A team from Dispur Police Station has apprehended three individuals involved in theft activities on Sunday, March 23.

The suspects, identified as Jannatul Islam, Sultan Ali, and Riyajul Islam, all from Lakhimpur, were detained based on reliable information.

Following their interrogation, authorities conducted a search on a vehicle parked at the Hotel Riviera parking area, near Rajdhani Masjid. The operation resulted in the recovery of:

- ₹3,00,000 (Three Lakhs) in cash
- One boat-shaped fake gold metallic item
- One XUV 300 (AS12AE2601)
- One black Clout backpack

Legal action has been taken against the apprehended suspects, and further investigations are underway.
