Three Bharat Darshan tourist trains for Northeast

GUWAHATI: With special focus to the people of the Northeast, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) is set to undertake three Bharat Darshan tourist train trips from here.

As per reports, the Bharat Darshan trips which were organised last year received a huge response from the people of Northeast and the IRCTC decided to continue with the initiative and operate three trips for the region this year.

The trip will cover religious places including Haridwar, Rishikesh and Mathura.

According to information, the entire trip will be eight days long and will start from Guwahati Railway Station from August 26.  The tourists will be able to visit several places of religious importance during the entire duration including Ganga arti, Lakshman temple, Kashi Vishwanath temple, Lakshman jhula and Ram jhula among others.

Further, the tourists will be charged Rs 8505 per person for the tour.
