GUWAHATI: Three police personnel from Assam have been promoted to Inspector General of Police.
1. Deputy Inspector General, National Investigation Agency (NIA), New Delhi (On Central Deputation) Sanjukta Parasor, IPS(RR-2006), has been promoted to the rank of Inspector General of Police.
2. Rafiul Alam Laskar, IPS (RR-2006), Deputy Inspector General (INT/MAC), Directorate General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), New Delhi (On Central Deputation) has been promoted to the rank of Inspector General of Police.
3. Vivek Raj Singh, IPS (RR-2006), Deputy Inspector General of Police (L&O), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati has been promoted to the rank of Inspector General of Police.
