GUWAHATI: The Assam Education Department will check each and every document that has been submitted by the candidates for getting a Government job. Many cases were reported across Assam where candidates used fake B.Ed and TET certificates to get a job in the Education Department.
Talking to reporters, State Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu said that there is no problem with the examination process. However, those who had submitted fake certificates and documents will not be spared.
"The Government has strictly dealt with those who were found guilty. We are going to do a rigorous screening of each and every certificate submitted to us. It may even take a year for the truth to come out, but there will be no laxity on our part. I will advise those who have given fake documents to come ahead and voluntarily resign. It will make things easier for them later," Ranoj Pegu said.
