GUWAHATI: A major cheating attempt was foiled at the Indian Army recruitment exam held at Army Public School, Narengi Army Cantt, on March 3.

The bust took place after a team from Satgaon Police Station acted on intelligence inputs regarding the use of electronic devices for malpractice.
During the operation, police seized multiple mobile phones, Bluetooth devices with SIM cards, and suspected earpieces used to facilitate cheating. Following the crackdown, thirteen individuals were arrested, all hailing from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh:

-Rinku (21) – Kaithal, Haryana
-Kuldeep (22) – Hisar, Haryana
-Gurmeet (20) – Jind, Haryana
-Harish (23) – Rohtak, Haryana
-Sandeep Kumar (22) – Kaithal, Haryana
-Billu (19) – Jind, Haryana
-Pradeep Kumar (24) – Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh
-Yudhveer (18) - Bhivani, Haryana
-Mohan (20) - Kaithal, Haryana
-Vishwash (18) - Hisar, Haryana
-Tushar (19) - Rohtak, Haryana
-Innu-(21)-Jind, Haryana
Authorities have initiated legal proceedings against the accused.
