GUWAHATI: A theft incident was captured on CCTV on December 20, around 3:20 PM, outside Vanaspati Bhandar in Ulubari, Guwahati. The footage reveals a thief stealing a bag allegedly containing ₹25,000 in cash from the dickey of a parked scooter.

Talking to GPlus, the victim said, " A thief stole my bag containing ₹25,000 in cash from the dickey of my scooter outside Vanaspati Bhandar. I have filed a complaint but haven't received any response from the authorities yet. I also go to Kachari Basti for shopping for my cloud kitchen service."
Local residents have raised concerns over the increasing number of thefts in the area.
