In a sensational incident at Narengi, Guwahati, a student of class 10 injured himself as he became the latest victim of the Blue Whale Challenge.
The student allegedly reached level 11 (the level of carving blue whale on his hand) and that is when the school authorities found out. The school authorities then informed the parents of the same and he is currently admitted in Gauhati Medical College and Hospital.
The Blue Whale game allegedly consists of a series of tasks assigned to players by administrators during a 50-day period, with the final challenge requiring the player to commit suicide.
