The 55 year old history of Guwahati’s R.D. Store

 It started in the year 1962, in the heart of Fancy Bazar. R.D.Store had inaugurated their shop in Babu Bazar, located near Sikh temple. It was a humble beginning, emerging from its roots which are in Nagaon, and are known by Ramlal Durgadutt. After 55 glorious years of catering primarily to Men’s tailoring of Suits, Trousers, Shirts and designer outfits, they have emerged as one of the finest craftsmen and tailoring showrooms across northeast India. R.D Store recently renovated itself to a showroom with one of a kind and even finer merchandise with a vast new collection. The store owner is Mr. Uttam Agarwala (Proprietor) and is assisted by his son Siddhant. “I can guarantee the customers with top-notch tailoring, exquisite fabrics, magnificent designs & first-class service,” said Mr. Agarwala to GPlus.  Also having catered to tailoring the uniforms of some of the primary and prestigious institutions in the educational, media, restaurants, travel, hospitality sectors in Assam, R.D. Store boasts of a clientele who have believed in them and trusted them through their journey. R.D.Store has also associated itself with NGOs, Societies and various others to make sure that they give back more than they have received.
