GUWAHATI: All contractual teachers from 2012 should be given salary without any condition and regularisation of teachers’ jobs are the main demands by All Assam TET Passed Teachers’ Forum. The Forum is organising a sit-in strike for their demands at Lakhidhar Bora grounds in Guwahati.
Other demands of the Forum include:
· Lower Primary teachers who are graduates with training should be given Rs. 8700 grade pay.

· Female Teachers working in interior places should be transferred to regular locations.
· To ascertain quality education appointments should be made to maintain student and teachers ratio.
· Books for students, exercise copies and uniform should be provided on time.
