GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Tea Auction Centre (GTAC) soon will be setting up an exclusive tea lounge at its premises.
The lounge will house a tea restaurant which will offer teas like Assam Orthodox, Crush Tear Curl (CTC) second flush, speciality teas, autumnal and other varieties. The lounge is said to be called as 'Chai Bar'.
GTAC has put the proposal on fast track for which a detailed meeting will be held in a couple of days. The basic objective is to promote the Assam tea and the tourism.
Interestingly, the chai bar was supposed to open way back in August 2011. Let's hope for the best.
