GUWAHATI: On Bihar government's recommendation, Centre has informed the Supreme Court of India that Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been accepted.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta stated before the Supreme Court that the Centre has accepted the Bihar government's request recommending CBI enquiry into the actor's death case.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is hearing Rhea Chakraborty's plea seeking direction for transfer of the investigation from Patna to Mumbai.
