State Govt focuses on repairing city roads

The State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal have undertaken various projects to repair and re-construct the city roads of Guwahati. The officials of the State Government has also added that while some of the works have been completed, others are progressing as well.  In a written reply to a question by AGP MLA Ramendra Narayan Kalita in the Assembly today, PWD Minister Parimal Suklabaidya said that 78 per cent of the work relating to the improvement of Guwahati-Fatasil Road and construction of footpath-cum-drain has been completed.  Besides, over 90 per cent of the work on various stretches of Guwahati-Garbhanga Road has been completed.
