GUWAHATI: An over-speeding vehicle crashed into a stationary tow truck at Beharbari in Guwahati on Sunday, April 6. The driver, who was allegedly drunk, rammed his vehicle into the truck standing below the flyover. A sticker on the windshield of the vehicle said it was on army duty.

Aahan Khan, an eyewitness, said, "The driver of the car was drunk. He was driving at a high speed. Anything could happen. We called the police and thankfully they took action."
Speaking to GPlus, an official from Basistha Police Station said, "We received a call at around 10:40 PM about an accident. The driver of the vehicle was not in a state to drive. We have fined him and taken his vehicle in custody. No casualties have been reported."
