GUWAHATI: In an official press note, State Level Police Recruitment Board released official results for the recruitment drive conducted for 5730 posts on May 8.
Among these, 1407 posts are in Assam Police, 412 posts in DGCD & CGHG, 556 posts in APRO, 43 posts in F & ES, 303 posts in Prison Department, 222 posts in Excise & 2787 posts in Forest Department. Out of which 1279 candidates were selected for Assam Police, 307 candidates were selected for DGCD & CGHG, 553 candidates were selected in APRO, 39 candidates were selected in F & ES, 301 candidates were selected for Prison Department, 222 candidates were selected in Excise Department & 2720 candidates selected in Forest Department.
The total posts released were 5730 out of which 5421 candidates were selected.
