GUWAHATI: The construction of the six-lane bridge connecting Guwahati and North Guwahati will be completed by next year.
Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, took to Twitter to announce that the project is progressing well and the bridge is expected to be ready for public use by next year.

With a length of 8.4 kilometres, the ambitious bridge project carries a total estimated cost of ₹2,608 crore.
As of now, the construction has reached an impressive 73% completion, and efforts are being made to ensure its timely delivery in 2024.
The focal point of this flyover will be the 1.24-kilometre-long main section of the bridge, which will link Guwahati to North Guwahati.
