GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has cancelled and short-terminated a number of trains due to the sinkage of track between Habaipur-Lamsakhang section of Lumding division.
The official NFR Twitter, in a tweet announced the cancellation of the following trains:
The 15717/15718 Guwahati-Mariani Intercity Express scheduled to leave on Saturday will remain cancelled between Guwahati-Mariani-Guwahati.
The 15927/15929 Rangiya- New Tinsukia Express scheduled to leave on Saturday will remain cancelled between Rangiya-New Tinsukia-Rangiya.
The 15603/15605 Guwahati-Ledo Intercity Express, scheduled to leave on Friday will remain cancelled between Guwahati-Ledo/Dibrugarh and the 15604/15606 Ledo-Guwahati Intercity Express scheduled to leave on Friday will remain cancelled between Ledo/Dibrugarh-Guwahati.
The 15769/15770 Alipurduar-Lumding Alipurduar Intercity Express scheduled to leave on Saturday will short terminate at Chaparmukh Jn and will remain partially cancelled between Chaparmukh Jn-Lumding-Chaparmukh Jn.
The 55601/55602 Guwahati-Lumding-Guwahati Passenger scheduled to leave on Saturday will short terminate at Hojai and will remain partially cancelled between Hojai-Lumding-Hojai.
