Single Pass Introduced For Morning Walkers In Guwahati Ahead of Independence Day 

 

GUWAHATI: To commemorate the 78th Independence Day, the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has launched a special initiative for the city's morning walkers.

Beginning on August 15, 2024, GMDA will offer a single pass that grants access to two popular walking locations: the Botanical Garden at Fancybazar, and the Brahmaputra Riverfront Park in Panbazar.

The pass will be available at a nominal cost, making it easier for residents to enjoy their morning exercise routines in these scenic locations. Interested participants can register for the pass at either the Botanical Garden or Brahmaputra Riverfront Park ticket counters for a one-time registration fee of just  ₹50.00. 

The pass will be valid for a period of one year and can be renewed upon expiry, offering a convenient and affordable option for regular walkers
