GUWAHATI: A seven-year-old child died after a part of a wall of an under-construction building fell on him while he was playing with his friends in Guwahati's Hatigaon on Thursday, September 19.

The four children were playing near the under-construction building, near Mazar Road in Hatigaon when part of the wall collapsed and fell on one of them. The incident claimed the child's life as doctors at Gauhati Medical College declared him dead.
The incident happened around 4 PM.
Talking to GPlus, an official from Hatigaon Police Station said, "The children were playing near the construction site when one of the walls gave way and fell on a child. The seven-year-old was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival."
Further probe into the situation is underway.
