The confirmed countries who have opted for collaboration in the state’s investment include Bhutan, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Additionally, five more countries—Philippines, Finland, Iceland, Austria, and the Republic of Korea—have confirmed their participation as attendees. Meanwhile, confirmation from 14 other nations is still awaited.

This development comes as Assam prepares to host the high-profile investment summit, which has already seen groundwork through 13 district workshops held across the state. These workshops, led by guardian ministers, engaged over 3,700 participants, including MSMEs, startups, and industry leaders.

The two-day event will focus on sectors such as tourism, renewable energy, aerospace and defence manufacturing, electronics and semiconductors, mobility and logistics, bamboo, and fragrance & flavours.

Several union ministers will also lead discussions on topics through dedicated sessions, including I-Way to Viksit Assam by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Act East, Act Fast and Act First by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and a special session on semiconductors by IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Additionally, other sessions will explore hydrocarbons, road transport, railways, shipping, and export promotion, featuring union ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Sarbananda Sonowal, and Piyush Goyal.

The summit will further feature 20 thematic sessions with industry leaders, government officials, and subject matter experts discussing strategic growth areas.

This event will be held at the Veterinary College Field, Khanapara in Guwahati.
