GUWAHATI: NorthEast United qualified for the Indian Super League play-offs for the first time in their ISL history, after Jamshedpur FC managed only a 0-0 draw with Chennaiyin FC on February 23.
The visitors looked blunt in attack and could not get a win that would have kept them in the running for a spot in the top four.
The result saw NorthEast United FC clinch a spot in the top four for the first time while Jamshedpur remains fifth and four points behind them.
