World War II Veteran Subedar Thanseia Of Assam Regiment Passes Away

 

GUWAHATI: India bid farewell to Subedar Thanseia, a revered veteran of the Indian Army's Assam Regiment, who passed away at the age of 102 on March 31, after a brief illness.

Hailing from Mizoram, Subedar Thanseia's life was marked by acts of bravery and service that left an indelible mark on India's military history.
