GUWAHATI: The Kamrup Metropolitan District Administration has revoked its previous closure order, allowing all government, provincialised, and private schools to resume normal classes from September 25, 2024. The decision follows an improvement in weather conditions since last evening.

The order, issued with the permission of the District Commissioner, revokes the earlier directive dated 23rd September, 2024, which had led to the temporary suspension of classes due to adverse weather.
However, the revised school timings, as per the order dated 20th September, 2024, will remain in place. Schools will function from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM until further notice.
