School bus hit by a car after collision with GMC dumper, three students injured

GUWAHATI: Three students from Pragjyotish Senior Secondary School, Boragaon, were injured in Guwahati’s Maligaon area when a Swift Dzire, which was rammed into by a GMC dumper, hit the school bus at around 7:45 a.m. this morning, May 30. 

Reportedly, the GMC dumper (AS 01 GC 2030), carrying waste hit the Swift Dzire (AS 01 AZ 2514) which lost control and hit the bus carrying the students.

The driver of the car has been critically injured and was rushed to GMCH while the other person in the vehicle had sustained minor injuries. 

The school bus when hit, ended up on a divider which injured the three students inside the bus who were later admitted to Swagat Hospital.
