Saina Nehwal has won the women’s single title at the 83rd Senior National Badminton Championships in Guwahati on Saturday, February 16 by defeating PV Sindhu.
The final match saw a showdown between the two ace players where Nehwal defeated Sindhu in 21-18 and 21-15 sets.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Badminton Association of India (BAI) President Himanta Biswa Sarma were present during the match.
