A Railway Inspector of Works named Imdadur Rahman was taken into custody in Bamunimaidam's Railway colony. Imdadur Rahman, the railway employee who was arrested, used fraudulent invoices to supply significant amounts of scrap material.

As per reports, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) had confiscated a truckload of goods valuable to the Railways. Two people identified as Sahidul Islam and Sahabul Islam were also detained in this regard.

The driver of the seized truck was also apprehended by the railway police and then turned over to the state police.
