Senior Citizens Struggle To Reach Sijubari LP School Polling Station Due To Dilapidated Road Conditions

GUWAHATI: The road leading to the Sijubari LP School Polling Station has become a cause of concern for many senior citizens, making it challenging for them to exercise their voting rights. The dilapidated condition of the road has left voters, especially the elderly, grappling with accessibility issues on election day.

Talking to GPlus, Marzina Begum, a resident of Notboma, aged above 70, expressed her frustration, said, "We came here from so far, and this road is in a pathetic condition. As senior citizens, it is very difficult for us to travel through this road. They should fix the road at least to ensure our convenience."
