GUWAHATI: Eminent author and Padma Shri awardee Rongbong Terang from Karbi Anglong has supported the renaming of Kathilangsu waterfalls as Abhi-Nil waterfalls.
However, Terang advised not to erect monument or statues of the two youths, as it would forever remind the people of that cursed day.
Terang made these observations in a multi-religious community prayer meeting held yesterday.
