GUWAHATI: Two students lost their lives on Sunday after being hit by a speeding two-wheeler in the Maithong village under Kakopathar tehsil in Tinsukia, Assam.
Among the two deceased, one has been identified as a minor aged 13 years and another has been reported to be an 18-year-old.
The deceased were reportedly riding their bicycles when a motorcycle approached at a high speed, leading to a fatal collision.
Eyewitnesses stated to the media that the two-wheeler allegedly appeared out of nowhere, leaving the minors with no chance to evade the collision.
