GUWAHATI: A road accident near the National Law University in Guwahati’s Amingaon area on Wednesday night claimed the life of a woman and left two others critically injured.

The deceased, identified as 35-year-old Lima Das from Pacharia, was riding a two-wheeler when a four-wheeler rammed into her from behind. The collision proved fatal for Lima Das, while two other individuals in the car sustained severe injuries.
Talking to GPlus, a traffic police official from Amingaon police station said, “We arrived at the scene, and after recovering the victim’s body, we rushed the two injured to nearby hospital for urgent treatment.”
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances leading to the accident. Further details await.
