GUWAHATI: The Assam government on Saturday, March 29, announced a reshuffle in the state's police force, providing listings and transfers for several officers of the state. The reshuffle was announced through a recent notification.

Here are the changes listed in the order:
- Shantanu Sharma Pathak, currently Superintendent of Police, BI(EO-II), Assam, Srimantapur, Guwahati, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, CID (Training), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati. This move has filled an existing vacancy.
- Pankaj Kumar Kakati, Commandant, 20th APBn., Panbari, Dhubri, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Re-Orgn.), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati. He will be taking over from Krishna Das, APS, who is due to retire on March 31.
- Jyoti Ranjan Nath, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (S&I), Police Commissionerate, Guwahati, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 20th APBn., Panbari, Dhubri.
- Kulendra Nath Deka, Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ), Biswanath, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Ops), Police Commissionerate, Guwahati. This posting is also against an existing vacancy.
- Pranab Kumar Pegu, Additional Superintendent of Police (State Bomb Centre), under STF, Assam, Guwahati, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, BI(EO-II), Assam, Srimantapur, Guwahati, replacing Shantanu Sharma Pathak.
