Registrations Open For Clean Water Supply In 5 New Areas Of Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Water Supply Project, supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), has opened registrations for residents in 5 new areas on January 5, 2024, to ensure clean and hygienic drinking water. The areas of the city are Kharghuli Hill, Hirimbapur, Silpukhuri, Latashil / Barowari, and Fancy Bazaar / Panbazaar.

Citizens residing in these specified localities have been urged to apply for the hassle-free delivery of potable water directly to their homes. To register for the water connection, interested citizens can visit the website www.gmdwsb.in or download the GJB mobile app available on Google Play Store.

On January 3, the Guwahati Water Supply Project opened registrations for GS Road from Ulubari Chariali to Paltan Bazaar, left Side of GS Road from ASEB Road to Ulubari Chariali, Rupanagar/Birubari, Kharghuli Hill, Hrimbapur, Silpukhuri, Latasil/Barowari, Fancy Bazaar/Panbazaar, Swaraj Nagar Area, Down Town I, Bormotoria II, Hengrabari I, Hengrabari II, and Hengrabari III.

Earlier, on January 2, the Guwahati Water Supply Project opened registrations for Fancy Bazar, Panbazar, Silpukhuri, Barowari, Latashil, Left side of GS Road Majhar Road to Paltan Bazar, Bormotoria, Birubari, Rupnagar, Kharghuli Hills, Hengrabari, Hrimbapur, Swaraj Nagar, and Down Town.
