Colony Bazaar, Kahilipara is all set to bring a touch of the magnificent Ram Mandir to its Kali Puja celebrations this year. With an eye on the upcoming inauguration of the Ayodhya temple, the organisers aim to capture the spirit of the moment in their pandal theme.
Speaking to GPlus, a member of Vivekananda Sporting Club stated, "In light of the forthcoming inauguration of the Ayodhya temple, we have chosen to portray a Ram Mandir-themed pandal. We want our people to experience the essence of the Ram Mandir right here in our midst."
This year marks the 59th annual Kali Puja celebration organised by the club.
The club also aims to extend a helping hand to the needy during these festivities. "As part of our celebrations, we will be distributing blankets to the needy ones," the club member informed GPlus.
Vivekananda Sporting Club, established in 1964, boasts a budget of ₹20 lakh allocated for this grand pandal. Besides the captivating theme, the three-day event will feature an array of activities, including art competitions, quiz competitions, and more.
Additionally, Adnan Ahmad, an Indian singer known for singing in the reality show 'The Voice' will perform in the cultural programme on November 14, as part of the Kali Puja celebration.
