GUWAHATI: Hatigaon Police arrested six people involved in a prostitution racket in a flat in Ghoramara area of Guwahati on February 29.
The Hatigaon police raided a residential complex, Pragjyotish Housing Society at 4 am and arrested five men and one woman from Flat no L-28.
Police seized contraceptive tablets, beer cans, condoms and liquor bottles from the flat.

The police took action after repeated complaints from neighbours.
An investigation into the matter is underway.
