GUWAHATI: A Guwahati jail inmate who was serving a jail term died under mysterious circumstance in the jail campus on August 2.
The deceased identified as Rahul Amin, was previously arrested in connection to money laundering and a power tiller scam in Assam.

However, the wife of the deceased smells foul in regard to her husband's death as Amin was absolutely fine when she met him on the evening of August 1.
Reportedly, the Guwahati Central Jail authorities said that Amin underwent medical treatment after falling sick on August 1.
Meanwhile, Amin’s body has been sent for post-mortem at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
