GUWAHATI: Assam police have arrested the prime accused in the Nagoan rape case in Halodhibari of Kachua in Nagaon, Assam on March 11. The accused has been identified as Muklesh Ali.
According to reports, a differently-abled girl was allegedly kidnapped by Muklesh Ali (Street hawker) and was gang-raped by seven men in a paddy field in Halodhibari, Kachua on March 3 .
On March 9, the Nagaon police had also arrested five persons who were allegedly involved in the rape case. The arrested persons have been identified as Mofidul Islam, Mubarak Ali, Saidul Islam, Abdul Barek and Ziyabur Rahman.
