GUWAHATI: In a heartwarming celebration filled with joy and festivities, underprivileged children from slum areas gathered together for the pre-Christmas celebrations at Joypur, Kharguli on December 16, 2023.
The event was organised to uplift marginalised women and girls from various areas, including Joypur-Kharguli hillside, Uzanbazar, Solapara, Kalibari, and Bamunimaidam.
The celebrations attracted at least 70 enthusiastic participants. The programme featured a delightful array of activities, including prayer dances, classical performances, Christmas carols, and Christmas dances.
