GUWAHATI: Popular Assamese Rapper Chinmoy Borah, lost his life after meeting with an accident at Nagaon in the wee hours of Tuesday, November 19.
Borah was enroute to Tezpur from Guwahati when his 2-wheeler collided with a truck. His family members reached the spot to take him to the hospital, however it was too late by then and he had succumbed to his injuries.
Borah was popular as "Chinmoy New Breed" and some his notable songs include, Likhi Dilu, Aai Loi Pronam, Gaali Boy (Produced by G Plus) and Xontraaxbadi.
It is worth mentioning that Chinmoy had also collaborated with G Plus in writing and performing the song, "Gaali Boy", inspired by the bollywood hit, "Apna Time Aayega" from Gully Boy.
The musical fraternity and young artists have expressed deep shock and mourned the untimely demise of the young talent.
