GUWAHATI: According to a report by PTI, Pakistani fighter jets violated Indian air space in the Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on February 27. They entered the border areas of this district, but were pushed back by Indian jets on air patrol, said a top official.

The Pakistani jets dropped bombs on the way out, a day after the Indian Air Force carried out air strikes across the Line of Control (LoC).

Earlier, Pakistani Army spokesman, Major General Asif Ghafoor had said that Pakistan will “surprise” India with its response that will be in all domains including “diplomatic, political and military.”

Earlier on February 26, the IAF had destroyed several Pakistani posts along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir by doing a surgical air strike.
