A team of Guwahati Police, arrested Pratul Kumar Ghosh, Proprietor, Ghosh Brothers Motors and Contour Hotel last night for allegedly being involved in the murder of one, Mridul Jyoti Das on February 4, 2016 at Contour Hotel premises in Paltan Bazar.
Earlier a case had been registered at the Paltan Bazar police station where Mridul’s brother, Pranab Jyoti Das had accused Pratul Kumar Ghosh of the murder.
Ghosh had been absconding and managed to evade the cops for the last two years. According to reports, he was hiding in Kolkata. The deceased Mridul Jyoti Das was a friend of Ghosh.
Ghosh will be produced in a Kolkata court and will be brought to Guwahati on transit remand.
