GUWAHATI: One of the riders of the two-wheeler died when it met with an accident with an SUV vehicle on the Ganeshguri flyover, on the late night of Monday, August 26.

The two individuals riding on the two-wheeler initially sustained critical injuries after a speeding SUV collided with their motorcycle on the Ganeshguri flyover in Guwahati.
Later on one of the riders succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, while the other is in a critical condition.
Talking to GPlus, a traffic police official from Dispur police station said, “We believe the car driver was under the influence and hit the two-wheeler while overspeeding coming from Zoo Road. Both the drivers were then taken to Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) for treatment.”
The identities of the victims are yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.
