GUWAHATI: Oil India delivered an upset defeating GPlus Athletic 3-1 in the second match of the Guwahati Premier Football League (GPFL) at Judges’ Field on Tuesday, November 26.

Despite GPlus Athletic taking an early lead through Damutlang Wahlang’s 17th-minute strike, Oil India staged a second-half comeback. Milan Basumatary’s performance with goals in the 47th, 54th, and 80th minutes sealed the victory for Oil India. He was awarded the player of the match.
GPlus Athletic, after a strong start in their opening match, will now aim to bounce back as they face Green Valley FC on November 29 at Judges’ Field.
