Now book your UBER without an App

In a move to increase user base in India and other cities, UBER has initiated an app-less version of booking rides and travelling in the comfort of an UBER. The San Francisco based company has launched ‘UBER for web’ so that people can ride an UBER cab without the app. This will also ease travelling and expand user base.  This feature is only available in 4 cities across India - Nagpur, Kochi, Guwahati and Jodhpur and can be availed via any web browser like Chrome, UCWeb, Safari or Opera. This is a pilot project according to UBER officials and will expand if the response from the public is positive. HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: 1) Navigate to dial.uber.com on your mobile phone 2) Enter your phone number to quickly login or sign-up 3) View pricing information, get a fare estimate, and request for your ride with a single tap 4) After requesting, we will instantly connect you with your driver over call to coordinate pickup 5)Once the trip is completed, you can pay your driver in cash
