GUWAHATI: Union Minister of Road and Transport, Nitin Gadkari on Friday, June 10, said that the construction of 25.25 Km Balachera-Harangjao section of NH-54 (Extension) is in progress.
In a tweet shared on Friday, the Minister said that the section is very crucial as it will be the starting stretch of the East-West Corridor and would connect the North-Eastern region with the rest of India.
The tweet further stated that the total project will cost Rs. 519.3 crore and will be completed by 2023.
