GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier (NF) Railway has announced the cancellation and diversion of certain trains for the commissioning of double lines between New Farakka - Dhulian Ganga stations over the Malda division is going on from April 7 to April 13, 2022.
The infrastructure development works are being undertaken to facilitate the work of capacity augmentation to operate more trains.
Details of cancellation and diversion of trains are:
Cancellation of train services
Train No. 13063 (Howrah-Balurghat) Express, 13064 (Balurghat-Howrah) Express and 13162 (Balurghat-Kolkata) Express will remain cancelled from April 11 to 13.
Train No. 13033 (Howrah-Katihar) Exp, 13145 (Kolkata-Radhikapur) Exp, 13163 (Sealdah-Saharsa Jn) Exp, 13169 (Sealdah-Saharsa Jn) Exp, and 13147 (Sealdah-Bamanhat) Exp will remain cancelled from April 9 to 12.
Train No. 13034 (Katihar-Howrah) Exp, 13146 (Radhikapur-Kolkata) Exp, 13164 (Saharsa Jn-Sealdah) Exp, 13170 (Saharsa Jn-Sealdah) Exp, and 13148 (Bamanhat-Sealdah) Exp will remain cancelled from April 10 to 13.
Train No. 13161 (Kolkata-Balurghat) Exp will remain cancelled from April 10 to 12.
Moreover, Train No. 12363 (Kolkata-Haldibari) Exp will remain cancelled on April 9 and 12.
Train No. 12364 (Haldibari-Kolkata) Exp will remain cancelled on April 10 and 13.
Train No. 13173 (Sealdah-Agartala) Exp will remain cancelled on April 8 and 10.
Train No. 13174 (Agartala-Sealdah) Exp will remain cancelled on April 10 and 12.
Again, Train No. 13175 (Sealdah-Silchar) Exp will remain cancelled on April 9.
Train No. 13176 (Silchar-Sealdah) Exp, 13181 (Kolkata-Silghat Town) Exp, 13159 (Kolkata-Jogbani) Exp, and 15712 (Katihar-Howrah) Exp will remain cancelled on April 11; and Train No. 13182 (Silghat Town-Kolkata) Exp, 13160 (Jogbani-Kolkata) Exp, and 15711 (Howrah-Katihar) Exp will remain cancelled on April 12.
Diversion of train services
Train No. 15657 (Delhi-Kamakhya) Exp scheduled to leave from April 9 to 11, will be diverted via Barauni Jn-Katihar.
Train No. 15658 (Kamakhya-Delhi) Exp scheduled to leave from April 10 to 12, and Train No. 15648 (Guwahati-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus) Exp scheduled to leave on April 12, will be diverted via Katihar-Barauni Jn.
Train No. 15620 (Kamakhya-Gaya) Exp scheduled to leave on April 11 will be diverted via Katihar-Munger-Jamalpur-Kiul Jn, and Train No. 15619 (Gaya-Kamakhya) Exp scheduled to leave on April 12 will be diverted via Kiul Jn-Jamalpur-Munger-Katihar.
Further, Train No. 13141 (Sealdah-New Alipurduar) Exp scheduled to leave from April 9 to 12, Train No. 15961 (Howrah-Dibrugarh) Exp is scheduled to leave from April 10 to 13, and Train No. 15643 (Puri-Kamakhya) Exp scheduled to leave on April 9 will be diverted via Bandel Jn-Barddhaman Jn-Rampurhat-Gumani.
Train No. 13142 (New Alipurduar-Sealdah) Exp scheduled to leave from April 10 to 13, Train No. 15962 (Dibrugarh-Howrah) Exp scheduled to leave from April 9 to 11, and Train No. 15960 (Dibrugarh-Howrah) Exp scheduled to leave on April 9, will be diverted via Gumani-Rampurhat-Barddhaman Jn-Bandel Jn.
Train No. 02517 (Kolkata-Guwahati) Exp scheduled to leave on April 10 will be diverted via Barddhaman Jn-Rampurhat-Gumani-Bandel Jn.
Train No. 15959 (Howrah-Dibrugarh) Exp scheduled to leave from April 10 to 13 will be diverted via Bandel Jn-Rampurhat-Gumani.
In addition, 13174 (Agartala-Sealdah) Kanchanjanga Express scheduled to leave Agartala on April 9 will be rescheduled by 03 hours. The train will leave Agartala at 11.05 hours instead of 08.05 hours.
